GLIR is another powerful solution for you to illustrate for 403(b) participants. It provides the option for a guaranteed income stream based on each client’s situation. Most importantly, it helps tackle one of their largest fears — outliving retirement income.

403(b)(9) Tip

Combining a GLIR annuity payout with a parsonage exclusion means clergy can receive guaranteed income that’s potentially tax-free on the portion used for housing.

Group Annuity

A group annuity contract is an annuity purchased and held by an employer on behalf of its employees and are used in FICA Alternative Retirement Plans.  The same annuities available for individual contracts are also available for group contracts.

Special Use Case: Balanced Opportunities Platform (BOP)

Balanced Opportunities is a turn-key recordkeeping platform for employers who require a mutual fund offering in addition to National Life Group fixed indexed annuities.  It also provides helpful participant enrollment technology, education, and other services on a single retirement platform.

You must be FINRA Series 65 Registered as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) to be able to sell the mutual funds on BOP.
